There are many reasons to preserve the most powerful music in the world. From the deterioration of media, loss of digital devices and hard drives due to failures, accidents, thefts and fires, to increasing censorship, the threat to Christian music is real.
From a global perspective, many are aware that Persecution and Censorship already exist in some countries and although there is still a relatively small amount of censorship in the Western World including here in the United States, trends show an increase.
We believe the Bible clearly predicts that increased persecution is ahead for Christians. We therefore value creating a plan that will provide believers and pre-believers access to the most powerful music in the world, now and for future generations.
Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. – 2 Timothy 3:12 ESV

Christian Music Preservation (CMP) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) ministry of Community Net Vision, with global volunteers that began to collaborate together in 2011. The ministry started as a result of Ron Maxwell, our President and CEO looking for a non-profit organization to donate his large vinyl and CD collection. Ron had been collecting Christian Music since 1984 when he served as Christian Radio Host, and a few years later as a network music director for one of the most respected educational Bible Institute Radio networks. After failing to find an organization that would both accept and preserve the music, Ron was led by the Lord to begin the Christian Music Preservation Project.
Today, CMP’s Vision is to ensure access to the most powerful inspirational music in the world for our current and future generations. Our Mission is to build a community which passionately Supports the Process of Protecting, Preserving, Promoting & Providing over One Million digital songs wherever legally possible. At the same time, we are an advocate of Music Royalties, assisting digital music platforms in their licensing setups and royalty reporting, along with how to provide payments to ASCAP, BMI, SESAC and SOUNDEXCHANGE. We do this for our Streaming Channels that showcase our music preservation project in different formats. In 2021, the stations had an impact for Jesus in every country in the world with over 1.3 Million Listening Sessions.
Today, this project continues to be a collaborative effort of volunteers and supporters around the world who share the same passion for Christian Music. We have worked for years with well-known respected Christian Radio and Music Industry leaders and major institutions, and continue to do so. We are so very grateful for the most wonderful, kind and respectful individuals who make up our team of volunteers in the US, UK and Malaysia, along with Christian Music Industry leaders here in the United States, our Donors, and the Foundation Organizations that provide us Grants.
